TALLAHASSEE BEER FESTIVAL HOLDS INAUGURAL EVENT IN SUPPORT OF LOCAL NONPROFITS
TALLAHASSEE, FLA— Presented by United Partners for Human Services, the Tallahassee Beer Festival (TBF) will host more than 65 breweries and home brewers at its inaugural event on Saturday, January 26, 2019 from 2-5 pm at The Pavilion at the Centre of Tallahassee (formerly Tallahassee Mall).
Festival attendees will be able to sample more than 100 different beers including ciders and home brews. Regional favorites including Proof Brewing Company, DEEP Brewing, Grasslands Brewing Company, Ology Brewing and Lake Tribe Brewing Company will be on-hand to offer samples of their various brews and well-established distributors Tri-Eagle Sales and Cone Distributing will also have samples from their impressive rosters of craft beers.
“This time of year, beer events are a dime a dozen but the Tallahassee Beer Festival truly stands out due to the array of brews we’ll have available for tasting. We have breweries coming from Asheville, Breckenridge, and Hawaii. It’s the second-best way to spend a Fall Saturday in Tallahassee and since FSU has a bye week, it’s the BEST way!” commented TBF Founder Ben Graybar.
Proceeds raised from the event will benefit participating local nonprofits including 2-1-1 Big Bend, Association Of Early Learning Coalitions, Inc, Big Bend Cares, Big Bend Community Based Care, Big Bend Area Health Education Center, Big Bend Habitat For Humanity, Big Brothers Big Sisters Of The Big Bend, Capital Area Community Action Agency, Capital City Youth Services, Capital Medical Society Foundation, Early Learning Coalition Of The Big Bend, Elder Care Services, Epilepsy Association Of The Big Bend, Kearney Center, Kids Incorporated Of The Big Bend, Legal Aid Foundation Of Tallahassee, Legal Services Of North Florida, Oasis Center For Women & Girls, Sustainable Tallahassee, Tallahassee Beer Society, Tallahassee Community Chorus, The Learning Pavilion, and Turn About, Inc.
“United Partners for Human Services is thrilled to have this opportunity for the community to come together and support the work of our human service nonprofit members,” commented Amber Tynan, United Partners for Human Services Executive Director. “The Tallahassee Beer Festival gives our community the chance to learn more about our agencies and directly support the work they do for our neighbors.”
